NVIDIA’s GT1030 Budget Graphics Card Will Only Cost US$70 / PHP 3,500

We have to admit: the idea of a newer, lower-priced budget graphics card has us interested – particularly in how well it can run some of today’s games. And from what it looks like, the GT1030 handles itself quite well. At a recent launch event in Bangkok, NVIDIA showcased their new GPU running on a few systems. Targeted towards eSports gamers and content creators looking to upgrade from the internal GPU of their processors, the US$70 card sounds just about right – especially since it requires no external power or large amount of space in your build. While it won’t be the highest end GPU you can get, its nice that budget builders have a new choice for entry-level performance today. Most of NVIDIA’s add-in board partners have been churning out the 1030 budget card so you should expect to see them in your neighborhood sooner rather than later. Budget conscious consumers should definitely keep an eye out for these, if they absolutely can’t get the slightly higher-priced 1050’s.
